Ewa Magiera epitomizes what it means to be a true community leader, serving as the heart and voice of YunoJuno’s freelancer community. Her tireless dedication is evident in every aspect of her role, a community of 6,000 freelancers.
As it’s no.1 advocate, she addresses their diverse needs—answering questions, hosting events, onboarding new members, and sharing market insights. Her leadership has turned it into a Slack community of over 50 channels, a hub of collaboration and innovation.
She also single-handedly researches and writes a weekly newsletter, onboarded over 50,000 freelancers to YunoJuno’s platform, and handles new member requests daily.

And for our pick for Community-Led Rising Star of the Year, we’ve got the consistently fantastic Gabrielle Herrera, Senior Marketing Manager, Community Growth at HubSpot.

In just eight months on HubSpot’s Community Strategy & Ops team, Gabrielle has revolutionized the company’s advocacy programs, introducing over 12 strategic changes that have unified and streamlined operations.
A standout achievement was her leadership in bringing 66 advocates to the INBOUND conference, where they acted as micro-influencers, achieving over 2 million social media impressions—a powerful testament to her ability to amplify community impact on a grand scale.
Gebrielle’s success is rooted in her ability to marry operational excellence with the human touch essential to community-led growth.
Drawing from a diverse background in email strategy, marketing operations, and nonprofit grant writing, she brings fresh perspectives to the field, driving exponential results such as an 8000% increase in community membership since a relaunch and a remarkable 95% community response rate to member questions.
